The Staff Construction Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of natural gas pipeline facility and other construction projects. This role will also develop and drive strategic practices within our organization and industry! Responsibilities/Expectations: Provides project leadership to establish project strategies, plans and construction execution philosophy Performs the review and acceptance of the contractor's construction schedule, budget; ensures contract changes are in accordance with its requirements Ensures safety, health and environmental regulations/permit requirements are being adhered by our employees and contractors Expedites engineering and procurement to support construction Leads construction closeout, including preparation of data books, project completion reports, and lesson learned Develops an enterprise construction quality program and ensures compliance with the inspector qualification program, contract permits, and stipulations Mentors others Other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: Required: High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of twelve (12) years’ related experience on small to mega projects including a minimum seven (7) years on large to mega projects in the oil & gas or related industries Preferred: Bachelor’s degree Physical and Environment Work Requirements: Must be willing to: Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) Use hand tools Other Requirements: Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint and Word Preferred: Experience in process facility construction or pipeline construction Why Tulsa?
