Job Overview
The Maintenance Operat is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Multicraft Maintenance Technician - Weekend Night Shift Starting Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5p-5a *must be willing and able to train on day shift

Ability to work safely on variety of equipment to carry out preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance. Trouble shoot electronic, hydraulic and electromechanical equipment (including, turret punches, laser, Mechanical/hydraulic power presses, and other specialized equipment) Read, interpret and program PLC controllers and languages Determine root cause of equipment failures and develop preventative measures Perform electrical/mechanical fabrication and alterations Diagnose machine operation failures and downtime utilizing machine manuals, PLCs and other tools, including diagrams, wiring layouts, blueprints, schematics etc. Inspect, operate or test machinery/equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, drills etc.) to precision measuring instruments. Utilization of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), for tracking work orders, spare parts and maintenance history. Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, machinery or equipment. Inspect drives, motors and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions. Perform preventative maintenance throughout the plant. May have to check belts, oil, belts, and filter, clean condenser coils on chillers, check lube levels on hydraulic presses, check equipment’s electrical and bolts on machines top to bottom. Perform repairs using electrical and mechanical blueprints. Perform pipe and conduit runs, wire pulling, and equipment. Stock room parts management, inventory, and parts ordering Operator fork truck/tow motor, hoists, scissor lifts and overhead lefts. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Associates degree in Maintenance Technology or Electronic Technology is preferred High School Diploma preferred PLC Programming Skills – Allen Bradley series, CompactLogix, ControlLogix PLC5, SLC 500, MicroLogix, GE FANUC 90-3 Experience coding in RS LOGIX 5, 500, 5000, or other modern programming language HMI Screens – Allen Bradley; Panelbuilder 32, Automation direct; C-more.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs- can be a team lift Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to work in a hot humid environment Must be able to work safely, in close proximity, to strong electromagnetic fields Poses and able to use inspections equipment to ensure the quality of the parts being produced. Physically able to do the work requiring frequent standing, bending and lifting up to 20 lbs. frequently and 40 – 60 lbs. occasionally. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly. Ability to work at heights up to approximately 50 feet.
