Position
Overview We are seeking an AI Security Program Lead to serve as the senior-most technical authority for AI security within Cyber Defense & Resilience! This role will define and drive AI security strategy, be responsible for AI threat modeling and governance, lead AI-related incident response efforts, and act as the primary advisor to executive leadership on the secure use, defense, and response to emerging AI technologies and threats.
Responsibilities
Develop and own the AI security strategy, threat model, and roadmap for Cyber Defense & Resilience. Establish quarterly priorities for AI security initiatives and provide strategic direction across multiple security functions. Define risk classification criteria and review high-risk AI agent architectures, including systems with customer data access, autonomous decision-making, and external system integrations. Act as the lead coordinator for AI-related cybersecurity incidents, partnering with enterprise incident response teams and collaborators. Create, maintain, and continuously improve AI incident response playbooks based on evolving threat landscapes and industry developments. Represent AI security strategy and posture to executive leadership, including the Deputy CSO, security leadership, and governance organizations spanning multiple functions. Monitor emerging AI security threats, attack techniques, and industry standards, translating research findings into actionable security controls and operational guidance.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field, or demonstrated equivalent experience. 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3+ years focused specifically on AI/ML security. Demonstrated hands-on experience working with AI systems, agentic architectures, LLMs, RAG frameworks, tool integrations, and AI-enabled workflows. Deep understanding of AI/ML security principles, including system architecture, deployment models, threat vectors, attack methodologies, and defensive controls. Experience developing security strategies, threat models, risk assessments, and governance frameworks for emerging technologies. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive-level partners and influence decision-making. Experience leading security programs, incident response activities, or risk management efforts within enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of cybersecurity experience with significant leadership responsibility in AI security, security architecture, or advanced threat programs. Prior experience within an AI-focused security organization at a leading AI company, hyperscaler, or highly regulated enterprise environment. Hands-on experience conducting AI red team exercises, including prompt injection testing, agentic vulnerability assessments, model extraction, and adversarial attack simulations. Experience partnering with governance organizations such as AI Centers of Excellence, Security Architecture, Incident Response, or Enterprise Risk teams. Knowledge of the AI security tooling ecosystem, including AI monitoring,
