What you'll do
The Director Marketing ANZ (secondment position for 12 months - Maternity Leave Backfill) is a crucial member of the International marketing team, responsible for driving revenue growth and driving go-to-market planning for Docusign's marketing programs across ANZ. The role requires a strong understanding of the SaaS market, strong analytical and execution skills, and a commitment to developing, mentoring, and hiring talent. The Director of Marketing will work closely with Docusign sales, channel, field marketing, demand generation, partner marketing, and product management to effectively market the company's solutions across all market segments. The individual will manage multiple projects simultaneously, including demand generation, customer communications, sales enablement, and pipeline reporting and analysis. The individual must be well-organized, proactive, and willing to jump on new projects at any time. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director, APJ Marketing.
Responsibility
Define annual marketing plan for the ANZ region using data-driven analysis, the marketing plan will include defining key priorities and strategies for growing the pipeline to support sustainable business growth Use key tactics including demand generation, 1st/3rd - party events, webinars, digital marketing, PR and content marketing programs Collaborate closely with business development teams to ensure success of marketing programs Track and deeply analyse industry trends and competitor efforts to extend the company’s leadership position Demonstrate leadership to positively influence cross functional teams and nurture an understanding of the opportunities and challenges in the ANZ market Develop thought leadership, customer and product content that can be leveraged in demand generation programs Ensure close alignment with the Global Demand Centre to localise relevant programs for the ANZ Market Analyse complex data sets throughout the funnel, able to isolate and prioritise areas for development Source and manage local vendors for program execution Join with a forward-looking view to build and lead a diverse team of marketers to achieve strategic goals Perform adhoc duties as directed by Management Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. What you bring Basic 10+ years of high-tech marketing experience, preferably in a field facing role 3+ years of people and/or team management People management experience and building scaling high performance teams Experience marketing technical solutions to specific industry verticals, with multi-channel distribution efforts Experience successfully managing cross functional partner relationships at all levels of an organization, with industry associations, partners, customers, and the public
