Echodyne is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our fast-growing team.
ROLE OVERVIEW
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials within the manufacturing and warehouse operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records. This role is essential in ensuring that materials are properly stocked, organized, and ready for production or shipment. This role will report to the Sr Manager, Production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Material Handling: Safely and efficiently move materials, products, and supplies throughout the building using manual handling or equipment (e.g., lift, pallet jacks).
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, sorting, and storing materials. Ensure all items are properly labeled, tracked, and stored in their correct locations to maintain an organized warehouse.
• KanBan: Replenish component kanbans throughout the day to enable the production team to stay on track for target completions.
• Work Orders: Pick parts for kits being put to the production line per work order pick list
• Cycle Counts: Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Order Preparation: Accurately pick and pack materials or products based on customer orders, work orders, or production schedules. Ensure the correct quantities and products are prepared for shipment or use.
• Stock Rotation: Implement inventory control practices, including FIFO (First In, First Out), to ensure materials are used or shipped in the
