E&I Technician

Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of E&I Technician located on Jurong Island, Singapore through  28 August 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (SGT). Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Carry out preventive maintenance of electrical equipment (Motor, Variable Speed Drive, Switchgear etc.) and process instruments (Transmitters, Control Valves, On-Off Valves, Analyzers, Weighing System, Tank Gauging System etc.) in accordance to maintenance procedure and schedule Troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate and commission electrical and instrumentation equipment Understand and be proficient working with electrical & instrumentation equipment, analyser sample systems and perform all preventive and predictive maintenance on these systems Develop and review job safety risk analysis and maintenance procedures Document and maintain all field observations and activities Be prepared to perform call out duty or perform 12 hours day shift when required Required Qualifications: Diploma / Higher Nitec/ Nitec in Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering or its equivalent 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in the refinery, petrochemical, chemicals additive industry or pharmaceutical industry Possess hands-on experience in handling hi-tech electrical and process instrument. Those with knowledge on PLC, instrument analyzers and analyser sampling system (e.g. Ametek, Rosemount, Mettler Toledo, Siemens) will be advantageous. Good understanding of safe work practices Good analytical & trouble-shooting skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Able to work independently and with teams Relocation Options:   Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.   International Considerations:   Selected candidate will work in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.   Relocation Options: Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
