Your Impact
As a technical member on the Privacy team, you will build software to support Axon privacy mission. You will be intimately involved in the architecture decisions that will shape privacy tools and services. You live and breathe cloud services that require high availability and fast, consistent performance. You love working with the latest privacy enhancing technologies, and can leverage your system design skills to make the right technical decisions on a system that needs to be bullet-proof. Not only can you drive decisions among competing engineering trade-offs, your empathy with customers allows you to intuit innovative solutions for our customer problems. You will be working closely with product managers and designers to ensure we are building the right solution for our customers.

What You'll Do
Location: This role is based out of our Seattle, WA Office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. • Design, build, and maintain back-end systems and services that power privacy and data compliance across Axon ecosystem, such as tools that enable other teams to automate tasks involving managing and protecting customer data.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• Work with the latest open source technologies
What You Bring
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2-4 years of professional software development experience
• Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems on Azure or other public cloud infrastructure
• Experience developing and working with AI tooling
• Experience with the areas below:
• Experience building data pipelines
• Experience integrating 3rd party solutions to internal systems and services
• Experience with system to system communication implementation, high-scale microservices, Kubernetes, service orchestration/inter-service authentication, CI/CD pipelines setup and tune up
• Design, implement, and tune robust APIs and API framework related features that perform and scale in a multi-tenant environment
• Backend service experience in multiple languages such as Go or Python, or similar
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores
