Manager/ Sr Transfer Pricing PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Manager/ Sr Transfer Pricing to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. The Manager/Sr Transfer Pricing is responsible for the execution, administration, and continuous improvement of PBF's transfer-pricing processes between Commercial and Refining. The role ensures approved transfer-pricing methodologies are applied consistently, supports accurate performance measurement, and serves as the primary owner for identifying, evaluating, and implementing material-change transfer-pricing and P&L adjustments. The position works closely with Commercial, Refining, Planning, Risk, Data Warehouse, and Technology teams to support business objectives and improve process effectiveness.
Primary Responsibilities
Transfer Pricing Process Management Manage execution of enterprise transfer-pricing processes. Administer approved transfer-pricing methodologies and ensure consistent application across Commercial and Refining. Maintain process controls, documentation, and supporting approvals. Resolve operational issues and support transfer-pricing-related reporting and performance measurement. Material Change P&L Adjustments Monitor business activities and refinery operating-plan changes to identify situations that may require transfer-pricing or related P&L adjustments. Serve as the primary point of accountability for evaluating potential material-change adjustments. Assess business, reporting, and performance-measurement impacts associated with material changes. Develop, document, and implement approved transfer-pricing and P&L adjustments. Ensure approved adjustments are accurately reflected in reporting and performance-measurement processes. Process Improvement & Business Partnership Partner with Commercial, Refining, Planning, Risk, Data Warehouse, and Technology teams to support business objectives. Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, controls, transparency, and reporting quality. Define business requirements and support implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives. Leverage reporting, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve business processes and decision support.
Qualifications
Required Bachelor's Degree. 5+ years of relevant business experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to manage business processes and drive issues to resolution. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms. Preferred Experience in refining, energy, commodities, supply & trading, planning, risk management, or related industries. Experience supporting performance measurement, reporting, transfer pricing, operational controls, or business-process management. Experience leading process-improvement, automation, or change-management initiatives. Experience working with Data Warehouse and Technology This position is on site 5 days a week. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, job-related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate’s compensation.
