Weyerhaeuser Boise Distribution Center is currently seeking a Forklift Operator. Under the direction of the Site Operations Manager and designated leaders, this position is responsible for all activities associated with the movement and handling of materials related to the wood products yard/warehouse. The wage for this position is $20.30 - $22.75 per hour. This is a first shift position, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Key Functions: - Safely operate and maintain propane or gas forklift to move products from stock lines to staging and/or cut stations - Safely load and unload products - Ensure accountability for personal safety and the safety of others by addressing any unsafe practices observed - Wear all personal protective equipment required - Accurately perform basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, and multiplying - Accurately count units, record totals and document shipping and receiving activities - Develop in depth knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations - Be highly attentive and adaptive to workflows. - Commit to quality, efficiency, and continuous process improvement. This is not an inside warehouse position. This role will perform manual labor 55- 65% of the time.
