Platform Engineering Manager Responsible for leading the delivery, reliability, and continuous evolution of the Platform Engineering organization focused on automation platforms, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer enablement. Partners with engineering, product, architecture, infrastructure, and security teams to build scalable, secure, and highly available platform capabilities that improve engineering productivity and operational excellence. Leads a team of Platform Engineers responsible for developing automation solutions, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes platforms, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. Drives technical execution, operational reliability, incident management, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation. Provides technical leadership, manages delivery priorities, develops engineering talent, and ensures the platform meets the evolving needs of internal engineering teams through scalable automation and cloud-native solutions.

Skills and Experience 10–12+ years of experience in Software Engineering with 3–5+ years of experience leading engineering teams. Experience managing teams building internal developer platforms, automation frameworks, or cloud infrastructure solutions. Strong understanding of software development using Go (Golang), Python, or similar programming languages. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized applications, and cloud-native platform technologies. Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS. Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar technologies. Experience managing CI/CD platforms and automation using Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Experience leading platform reliability initiatives, incident response, root cause analysis, and operational excellence programs. Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design, scalability, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with observability technologies including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, or similar monitoring and logging platforms. Strong knowledge of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), automation, and cloud security best practices. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
