Explore opportunities with us for a career in a supportive environment where you can learn and grow.” In this role, you will: Facilitate the scrum process with cross functional impact that involve moderately complex projects, non-projects, or maintenance work Guide the scrum teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met Partner with discipline managers about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards Facilitate the Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Interact with internal customers Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s / Master Degree in Engineering or equivalent First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM) Second or Third level Scrum Master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC) Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.) Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: numerous Burn down techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc) Previous experience as a collaborative leader Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a Scrum team. The role exists to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions across a product area by: coordinating delivery across multiple teams and products, managing dependencies, risks, and release readiness, aligning product, technology, and stakeholder expectations, and coaching teams on Agile, product, and modern engineering practices to improve execution quality and predictability.
