13+ years experience at a media agency, client, leading OOH or strategy with a focus on OOH 5+ years leading and developing a strong and productive team Strategic mindset, always looking to what's new and next and willing to take appropriate risks to challenge the status quo Strong leader who can demonstrate analytic skills, problem solving, and independent decision making Ability to clearly explain complex ideas to multiple audiences and respond to questions Familiarity with industry standards in audience measurement Knowledge and experience buying top 20 DMAs Responsibilities: Foster deep rooted understanding and maintain accountability and ownership of forecasting process Guide accounts to profitability and stability through organic growth and new revenue streams Identify net new opportunities to leverage OOH in a unique fashion to deliver on client business objectives Define scope of work and accompanying compensation Exhibit solid communication and deck building skills to tell a story with a clear narrative Capable of presenting complex strategic approaches to executive level clients Engage with clients to build a strong understanding of their needs and how to evolve the team offering to meet them Collaborate with marketing partners and strategy teams to understand business and marketing objectives and develop OOH approaches to meet those objectives Foster trust quickly with clients and partner agencies to provide for the collaboration true integration requires Evaluate vendors across the OOH ecosystem for client needs or as they approach clients Strong and thoughtful negotiation skills Things You're Great At: Story Telling – get away from “media speak” and tell a simple and straight story Forward Thinking – a desire to challenge yourself, strategy teams and our clients to think beyond today’s solutions Exhibiting Strong Business Acumen Curious Creativity – an ability to think and solve problems in non-linear ways, and an ability to craft compelling stories; a natural and persistent inclination to explore, discover, and learn, as well as a fascination with analytics Agile Work – the nimbleness to react to market changes and high value opportunities Driven Beyond the Basics – the drive to go beyond asking “what?” to ask “why?”; a commitment to digging beneath the surface and interrogating information versus accepting it at face value Collaborative – a desire to create a collaborative working environment where the notion of team comes before labels Displays a general understanding of business concepts in order to apply to campaign opportunities Fosters a general understanding of the overall media landscape and OOH's role within it Possesses a comprehensive understanding of traditional (static and digital) OOH media across key markets (will vary by client)
