Member of Technical Staff - II ( C++ )

Job level P20 EMPLOYEE ROLE Individual Contributor About the Role: Adobe's Genuine Engineering group seeks a talented C++ Development Engineer to join our diverse team. You will be essential in building and maintaining the unified library used in Adobe desktop products on Windows and macOS. Our team leads efforts against piracy of Adobe software and services, as well as fraud detection and prevention. Your technical skills and creativity will help safeguard Adobe’s intellectual property and maintain the integrity of our offerings.

Collaborate with a team of highly motivated and skilled engineers to deliver outstanding results. Build, develop, and maintain features in the Product hardening or GoCart library, contributing to Genuine’s team growth. Take ownership of features end-to-end, including requirements gathering, build, implementation, and crafting unit and automation test cases. Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Continuously improve existing features by identifying and addressing gaps in the system. Act as a proactive self-starter, employing innovative methods and techniques to achieve team goals. Serve as a guide on one or more platforms, understanding cross-platform challenges and customer requirements. Contribute to the development and application of advanced concepts, technologies, and expertise within the team. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, build, and deliver new features. What You Need to Succeed: Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Professional Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on build and development experience. Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in modern C++ and object-oriented programming. Deep experience with debugging, profiling, and writing highly performant native code for platforms like macOS and Windows. Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, architecture, building, and performance optimization. Familiarity with building features for large-scale applications. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Why Join Us?
