Responsibilities
Business Development Manager Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) A growing, 144-bed behavioral health facility – Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24-hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.
Position
Summary The Manager of Business Development oversees the provision of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Business Development Department. The Manager of Business Development is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization’s continuum of care through the effective application of marketing principles and methods. As a member of the facility management team, the Manager of Business Development is actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of facility issues including, but not limited to, strategic planning, potential growth opportunities, future projects, changing in programing/protocols, recruitment and retention. The Manager of Business Development is responsible for the facility’s strategic marketing plan, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, management of all sales and business development activities and maintaining an active and productive working relationship with internal departments and communicates issues or potential problems proactively, especially with CEO and Manager of Admissions/Intake. The hours of the position are based on departmental, and facility needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours, as directed by the CEO/Managing Manager or designee. Qualifications
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or sales is required, Master's degree in marketing, business or sales is preferred. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in outside sales, marketing. A working knowledge of behavioral health inpatient and outpatient operations. Must possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record {no tickets, violations}. Ability to travel a minimum of 75% of the time.
