Job Description
About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Solution Architect, Materials Management & Sourcing, to join our Information Technology team based out of our corporate office in Oak Brook, IL. The IT Solution Architect, Materials Management & Sourcing, is a senior technical and functional architecture role, responsible for defining, governing, and continuously evolving the ERP-based procurement and e-Procurement platform landscape across the full Source-to-Pay (S2P) process domain. The role carries equal weight across two dimensions: deep ERP Purchasing and Inventory Management ownership spanning purchasing operations, MRP-driven procurement, invoice verification, and master data and S2P platform architecture through the company’s e-Procurement suite and its integration into the ERP environment. This role is the primary decision-maker for solution design within this domain, sets the architectural standards that delivery teams work within, and is accountable for ensuring the long-term integrity, scalability, and fitness of the S2P technology landscape. Success requires broad architectural thinking, deep ERP functional expertise, strong integration command, and the ability to engage credibly with Procurement, Finance, and Plant Operations leadership while influencing technology direction in partnership with the PMO and Digital Engineering and Automation team.
