THE ROLE
Everpure is seeking a seasoned Senior Internal Audit Manager to join our Internal Audit team. In this senior individual contributor role, you will operate with significant autonomy and influence, leading our most complex and highest-visibility operational audits across the business and partnering directly with senior leaders to evaluate risk, strengthen processes, and shape how the business makes decisions. This position requires strong business acumen, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to independently manage complex audits from planning through reporting, while bringing a point of view that senior stakeholders seek out before decisions are made.
The ideal candidate brings deep operational audit experience, business process and enterprise risk expertise, data analytics capabilities, and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies, including the use of AI embedded into audit activities to improve audit quality and efficiency. You hold yourself and the function to a standard of integrity that never bends to timeline pressure, and you escalate control or policy gaps with a proposed solution, not a workaround. Beyond executing audits, this role sets the agenda for its areas of coverage, drives durable remediation of systemic risks across the organization, serves as a sought-after voice before key decisions are made, and raises the standard for the broader audit function. This is NOT a SOX-focused role. Instead, the position emphasizes operational audits, business process and enterprise risk assessment, and strategic partnership across the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead complex, ambiguous, and high-visibility operational audits and advisory engagements from planning through reporting, often spanning multiple functions, systems, or geographies, with full accountability for quality, timelines, and deliverables.
• Set the risk assessment and audit agenda for your areas of coverage, determining scope, depth, priorities, and appropriate trade-offs.
• Proactively identify untapped risks or improvement opportunities ahead of the audit plan, and pressure-test whether the function’s coverage and priorities are ambitious enough - not just execute against what’s already scoped.
• Develop risk-based audit objectives, scope, and testing procedures aligned with business and organizational priorities.
• Conduct process walkthroughs, control testing, data analysis, and evidence evaluation to assess the effectiveness of business processes and controls.
• Identify systemic risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities; assess root cause and business impact; and develop practical recommendations.
• Drive accountability for remediation of significant and systemic issues to sustainable resolution - regardless of where formal ownership sits - by building alignment across stakeholders, including where you do not have formal authority.
• Prepare and present clear, concise audit reports that communicate findings, business impact, root causes, and recommended actions to senior stakeholders.
• Leverage data analytics, predictive techniques, AI, and emerging technologies to enhance risk identification, audit coverage, insight, efficiency, and quality, while
