Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an EH&S Manager, Metal-Mechanical Operations located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Director, EH&S the EH&S Manager, Metal-Mechanical Operations is responsible for driving Environmental, Health & Safety excellence across operations, ensuring compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, supporting business growth, and leading critical initiatives related to machine safety, emergency response, and environmental management systems. What a typical day looks like: Define and deploy EHS strategies aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements. Lead a team of 2 EHS Managers and an organization of approximately 40-50 engineers, technicians, and EHS professionals. Support business expansion, new product introductions, and ramp-up activities, including metal-mechanical manufacturing operations. Drive machine safety programs, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives across manufacturing operations. Lead emergency preparedness programs, large-scale drills, crisis management, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP). Promote safety culture initiatives and employee awareness programs. Manage and improve EHS performance metrics, budgets, and compliance programs. Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits. Ensure compliance with applicable Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and company standards. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and Leadership teams across multiple sites. Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: BA/BS Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health, or related field. Fluent English. EHS experience in manufacturing environments. Experience leading EHS organizations at Manager or Director level. Strong background in metal-mechanical manufacturing, heavy industrial environments or automotive. Proven experience in: Industrial Safety, Environmental Compliance, Emergency Response Management, BCP, EHS Culture Programs, machinery safety. Ability to communicate and demonstrate technical expertise with internal and external customers. Experience leading EH&S programs across complex manufacturing operations.
