Role & Responsibilities The Training Equipment Defect Co-Ordinator role is responsible to the Raytheon Selborne Regional Training Equipment Management (RTEM) at HMS Sultan. They will co-ordinate defective repair of all Training Equipment within Company standards and contractual requirements for the support of training equipment services within the Selborne contract. The role will be based at HMS Sultan in Gosport and will require occasional travel to naval training sites across the UK.
Responsibilities
To organise the timely defect rectification and maintenance of Training Equipment. To organise maintenance to satisfy statutory requirements on a variety of systems and equipment. (HP Air, Workshop machinery, welding equipment etc) To develop and maintain an understanding in the functionality and operation of all applicable training equipment. Control of Maintain Statutory Written Schemes of Examination for pressure systems, Local Exhaust Ventilation and Lifting Equipment. To liaise with other departments, business units and nominated representatives to ensure a consistent approach is adopted to safety policy, processes, procedures, and initiatives. To collaborate closely with contractors to ensure maximum operability of Training Equipment. To collaborate closely with the Authority to plan down time for machinery repair to minimise disruption to the Training output.
