What this job involves: Responsible for Data Centre operation Proven track record of handling Uptime Certification is a must Establish engineering and operation procedures and roll out for site staff Ensure compliance with all local statutory regulations Emergency call support and site attendance for trouble shooting Implement the energy/cost initiative program Managing all vendors carry out maintenance for all installations during weekend and reviewing maintenance reports · Development of technical service standard Assist manager to prepare Critical Environment procedures Provide solutions for technical issues Initiate a system to measure the quality of performance Initiate a preventive management program Participating in Disaster Recovery Plan per the Client’s requirement Manage the Building Management System (BMS) Update technical drawing regularly / Inventory list / Asset list, etc. Ensure all certificates are not expired, arrange renewal when required Handle Customers’ IT equipment racks & equipment move-in Perform Burn-in Test & Current Leakage Test for Customers’ IT equipment Incident handling Required Skills and Experience: Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering, or any other relevant discipline Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Data Centre operation / Telecommunications / Large-scale property management industry Familiar with critical facilities including Chiller/Cooling Tower, CRAC, UPS, STS, Genset, FM200, Pre-action Sprinkler System …etc. Strong leadership, people and communication skills Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems including MS excel and PowerPoint Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese For Electrical Engineer, holder of REW B0 or above license is a must For Mechanical / Building Services Engineer, holder of Registered Electrical Worker Grade A (0) or above is preferred Provide 7 x 24 Emergency call-out service if needed Location: On-site –Hong Kong, SAR, China If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.  We’re interested in getting to know you and what you bring to the table!
