The Sales Platform Enablement Lead Consultant will provide training & education to Lincoln’s internal & external business partners relative to the various financial planning and digital tools available in the financial services industry. They will act as a strategic leader and will work across key business areas to direct, develop, prioritize, and roll-out complex concepts to generate sales and achieve strategic objectives. What you'll be doing
Collaborates with Marketing to provide solutions to the development of sales and marketing campaigns supporting sales concepts for all distribution channels. Maintains productive relationships with internal partners, external sales management, and customers in order to significantly capture sales and market share. Creates complex narratives & models to support sales concept deliverables. Creates, implements, and facilitates training on financial planning and digital tools concepts. Acts as a subject matter expert for advisors and key stakeholders to provide value-added strategies to increase client business. Provides training to Lincoln producers & wholesalers to promote Lincoln’s product strategy as well as the financial advantages of Lincoln product over industry competitors. Works with our partners on the Market Insights & Relationship Management teams to determine which digital platforms we will/will not gain access to, then determine which Lincoln wholesalers should gain access and/or training. What we’re looking for
Must-Haves
5+ Years of experience in financial services sales and/or marketing with a focus on annuities, retirement plans, long term care, and/or life insurance that directly aligns with specific responsibilities for this role 1 - 3+ Years of experience/knowledge of financial planning and/or digital tools platforms Experience with iCapital, MoneyGuide, eMoney, or similar tools FINRA Series 6 or 7 License - obtained within 90 days of hire Life, Health, and Variable Annuity license - obtained within 90 days of hire 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) Technical knowledge of annuities, life insurance, long-term care, and retirement plans Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, identifying the appropriate resources and tools to drive solutions Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment
