Job Title: Business Consulting – Lean Six Sigma Black Belt – Manager Location: Dublin Available for Work Visa Sponsorship: NO Business Area: Business Consulting - Customer Transformation Contract Type: Full-Time – Permanent The opportunity Join our Customer Transformation team and help clients radically improve processes across operations to drive value for internal and external customers. You’ll work on exciting projects that transform customer experience, drive sustainable growth, and enhance business outcomes. This is your chance to shape how organisations optimise operations and have a tangible impact on performance. Your key responsibilities Process Decomposition & Lean Analysis
Lead Lean Six Sigma DMAIC reviews across key client projects Decompose end‑to‑end processes to task level, explicitly defining:
inputs and outputs decision points hand‑offs exception paths Produce Value Stream Maps (As‑Is and To‑Be) with quantified metrics (cycle time, lead time, takt time, capacity utilisation)
Waste Identification & Quantification
Apply the 8 Wastes framework systematically to identify
non‑value‑added activity bottlenecks and delays duplication and rework
Quantify improvement opportunities to support
business cases prioritisation of AI agent candidates phased transformation roadmaps
Statistical Analysis
Expert use of statistical tools and hypothesis testing to identify root causes, validate improvements, and predict performance outcomes using:
regression analysis ANOVA correlation analysis Design of Experiments (DOE),
Statistical Process Control (SPC) & Process Capability
experience applying control charts, process capability analysis (Cp/Cpk), variation analysis to monitor process stability and drive defect reduction
Data Analytics & Visualization
Proficient in analysing large datasets and presenting insights using histograms, Pareto charts scatter plots control charts statistical software such as Minitab, or advanced Excel
Predictive Modelling & Experimental Design
Ability to design and execute experiments, develop predictive models, determine sample sizes use data to optimize process performance and operational outcomes.
AI‑Ready Process Design
Bring knowledge around Data & AI to
identify tasks suitable for agent execution define Human‑in‑the‑Loop control points shape agent‑to‑agent and workflow‑to‑agent interactions
Ensure future‑state processes are
standardised auditable scalable across jurisdictions and clients
CoE & Capability Development
Develop reusable Lean artefacts and patterns for repeat client delivery Coach client and EY teams on Lean‑led AI enablement
Skills and attributes for Success
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Experience delivering multiple Lean Six Sigma Black Belt projects Proven delivery of Lean transformations in complex, regulated environments Strong experience decomposing knowledge‑heavy processes Comfortable working alongside technologists, data engineers, and AI specialists Experience presenting quantified improvement cases to senior stakeholders Strong interpersonal, workshop facilitation skills
