Job Description
What you’ll do You'll help create meaningful, human-centered experiences that bring humanity to financial products and services. Design plays a vital role in shaping the products and services we deliver to our customers. Throughout our 10-week paid internship, you'll build foundational experience design skills through hands-on project work, accelerated learning, mentorship, and a supportive community of peers and advisors. As a n Experience Design I ntern, you’ll : Get hands-on experience working on design projects that impact the business Enhance your design integrity understanding and learn the foundations of user experience related to digital practices Develop design and business acumen through training, mentorship, and exposure to senior executives Build a supportive community of peers through a variety of cohort strengthening activities such as social events, volunteer days, and development workshops Who we’re looking for We're looking for curious and creative problem solvers who enjoy simplifying customer experiences and imagining the future of banking. Successful candidates are eager to learn multiple roles and functions within Customer Centricity and Design while building the skills, perspectives, and relationships that support a successful career in experience design.
Basic qualifications
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a target graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028 Basic understanding of digital communication and design principles Ability to start internship program on June 7 , 202 7 Preferred qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above Ability to think and work independently within a professional setting Interest in web and app design Prioriti zes leveraging data, artificial intelligence, and technology solutions to improve business processes and decision-making Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills Flexibility to work within a multi-discipline team and receive dynamic on-the-job training Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously Familiarity with Microsoft apps such as Figma, Adobe XD and/or Sketch Working model and hours : This role follows U.S. Bank's hybrid work model, with interns expected to work from a U.S. Bank location at least 60% of the time and flexibility to work remotely the remainder of the time. Interns work approximately 40 hours per week during the internship.
