Job Description
About the Role: The mixer is primarily responsible for measuring and adding dough ingredients in batches to the Mixer. To operate and monitor the mixing of ingredients according to specific formulas in a timely manner, observing all safety regulations, ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met and maintaining the timely and efficient product flow through the production process. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: • Measure and mix ingredients according to formula specifications, using appropriately colored scoops for allergen ingredients and following the proper bag opening procedure. • Monitor set times and mixing processes, perform quality control checks, and ensure dough temperature meets specifications. • Unload completed batches, transfer them to the next station, and scrape and clean the mixer after unloading. • Operate machine controls to transfer liquids to the mixer, set timers, and perform pre-operation inspections. • Record batch numbers for ingredients, make blends on the process order sheet and in SAP, and maintain detailed and accurate downtime sheets and process control sheets. Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 1st shift, which operates from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The wage range for this position is $27.37–$27.62 per hour, with $27.37 as the starting rate and $27.62 as the full rate. This posting is for a newly created role that is not currently vacant.
About You
