Quality Management Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with company and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, including SQF, HACCP, and GMP, or other industry-specific quality systems. Lead internal and external audits and coordinate corrective actions. Manage customer complaints, non-conformance investigations, internal defects, and quality improvement activities. Responsible for monitoring process data, validating check frequency per the corporate requirements, and reporting concerns to supervision. Operate several web-based databases for quality data and supplier performance. Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems. Oversee product and process quality assurance activities. Ensure effective control of documentation, specifications, procedures, and work instructions. Lead supplier quality improvement efforts and collaborate with procurement on supplier performance issues. Maintain quality equipment through calibration and external repair. Review all process control records, spoilage collections, and entry of all defective material related data. Continuous Improvement Develop and execute strategic continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives. Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and waste reduction activities. Facilitate cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities. Champion problem-solving methodologies such as: Root Cause Analysis (RCA) 8D PDCA DMAIC Monitor project effectiveness and sustain gains through standardization and control plans. Drive productivity, efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence programs. Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop quality and continuous improvement personnel. Train employees in quality tools, Lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies. Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and operational excellence. Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams. Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze quality and operational performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI scorecards. Utilize statistical analysis tools to support process improvements.
