About this role
The AWS Field Experience team provides our customer-facing teams with a suite of products that streamline communication between the field and the specialists within the AWS Worldwide Sales organization. We are part of AWS Field Experience Engineering, enabling our field teams with world-class software and automated mechanisms to scale. Our team's services enable Amazonians all over the world to engage experts across the hundreds of AWS services that are expanding every day by traversing the vast organization. Our product is launching in new directions, enabling you to get in and make fundamental contributions to the trajectory of this effort. As a Software Engineer at Amazon, you will work on distributed cloud systems. As part of this team, you will be responsible for helping design and build the systems that together power our service. You will have the opportunity to work on full-stack development of the user experience for this service. Members of our team have areas of focus, but our general stack includes back-end API development using AWS Lambda, security and identity, NoSQL data storage on DynamoDB, complex event orchestration and automation, real-time data processing, and infrastructure automation using tools like CloudFormation and AWS CDK. Great candidates for this position possess a strong understanding of computer science and a passion for learning new technologies to solve complex problems. You will have the opportunity to apply this passion by leveraging your technical skills in areas such as algorithms, distributed systems, web development, front-end/back-end design, and more. As a member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity not only to work with and learn from others, but also to drive the direction of our product and become a technical leader in our greater organization.
