Functieomschrijving • Monitor and control project budgets, providing ongoing cost reviews and trend assessments. • Advise on value engineering and cost optimization strategies to keep projects within budget. • Coordinate the variations process and manage change orders, including evaluation of client changes and contra charges. • Review and approve contractor invoices, prepare interim payment certificates, and oversee the settlement of final accounts. • Attend and contribute to regular cost meetings, producing clear and concise monthly cost reports. • Deliver cost advisory services and support value/cost analysis for both internal stakeholders and clients. • Maintain effective communication with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment and transparency. • Participate in the bid process as required, supporting the bidding team with input and pricing for cost management fee services. Functie-eisen • In-depth knowledge of Belgian cost management practices and the local market. • Fluency in English and Dutch or French preferred. • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. • High degree of accuracy and the ability to work effectively under pressure. • Strong team orientation and customer focus (internal and external). • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Project.
