Operations Engineer Staff - Level 4

Standard Job Description 
 You will be the Operations Engineer Staff - Level 4 for the Operations Team which is responsible for driving cross‑functional improvement initiatives across the organization.

As the Operations Engineer Staff - Level 4 you will be responsible for creating comprehensive project charters, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous‑improvement methodologies, and leading end‑to‑end initiatives that elevate safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and customer satisfaction.   Your responsibilities will include: Facilitate Kaizen events, value‑stream mapping, root‑cause analysis, and process‑mapping workshops to uncover improvement opportunities. Analyze operational and financial data to detect trends, variation, capacity constraints, and waste; develop dashboards and KPI reports. Establish baseline performance, set measurable targets, and define key performance indicators for each initiative. Collaborate with operational leaders, frontline staff, engineering, quality, supply chain, IT, HR, and other functions to support stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and readiness assessments. This position is in Fort Worth, TX.  Discover Fort Worth   Performs activities involving the producibility and quality of the product, and the processes that directly pertain, encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: failure analysis, industrial, manufacturing, manufacturing equipment, process, product, quality assurance, reliability, supplier quality, Lean Six Sigma, test, and tool. Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or a related discipline. Minimum of five years of experience in operations, project management, process improvement, industrial engineering, quality, or a related function. Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, root-cause analysis, and value-stream mapping. Demonstrated ability to develop project plans, manage risks, coordinate resources, and deliver measurable results. Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Desired Skills 
 Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, operations management, organizational leadership, or a related discipline. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project-management credential. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment. Experience analyzing operational data and translating findings into practical recommendations. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher; Black Belt certification strongly preferred
