This job leads the strategic implementation of DevOps practices, optimizing the software development life cycle. It champions the creation of automated CI/CD pipelines, fosters cross-team collaboration, and drives continuous infrastructure enhancement for scalability. The role also involves mentoring and maintaining expert knowledge of evolving development technologies and methodologies.

Skill Set - Strong hands‑on expertise with Google Cloud Platform Deep experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) , including:Control planesReadiness and liveness probesAutoscalingCluster upgrades Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm (experience with Puppet is a plus) CI/CD expertise using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Cloud Build Strong knowledge of Docker , Linux/macOS, and shell scripting Experience administering Cloud SQL and Firestore IAM and service account management across GCP and AWS , including Workload Identity Federation Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, EC2, and CloudFront Proficiency in Git, Python, and Bash Experience working with CDNs, SSL/TLS, and production change management Strong operational mindset with metrics‑driven decision making   Typical Tasks and Responsibilities Support and maintain Kubernetes cluster configurations , ensuring availability and performance for geographically aligned engineering teams and participating in structured handovers when required Own and evolve Terraform‑based infrastructure , including state management, reviews, and best practices Coordinate and execute production deployments in partnership with development teams Maintain and improve CI/CD environments , including pipeline upgrades and reliability enhancements Plan and execute Kubernetes cluster upgrades , identifying and mitigating compatibility risks Rotate and manage SSL certificates , service accounts, and IAM permissions Administer CloudFront distributions , including configuration, monitoring, and optimization Track and report DevOps operational metrics such as release frequency, lead time, failure rates, and mean time to recovery Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues across cloud environments Continuously improve platform reliability, security posture, and operational efficiency Responsibilities: Leading the implementation of processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs throughout the software development life cycle Optimizing the development process to bridge gaps between software development, engineering, and management Striving for continuous improvement by building and enhancing continuous integration and deployment pipelines Driving the creation of automated processes to minimize the time from commit to production Serving as a key liaison between development and operations teams to enable rapid product development Increasing customer responsiveness by monitoring and optimizing application performance Ensuring the creation of stable, deployable, and scalable operating environments through continuous infrastructure development Maintaining in-depth knowledge of development processes and programming languages Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
