We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, POM Product Owner. This role is located in New York, NY.
Position
Overview: The Vice President, Business Analyst/Product Owner drives the vision, architecture, and execution of our core product ecosystem. In this role, you will define the product strategy, translate vision into scalable business requirements, and optimize processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to champion agile best practices and ensure technology initiatives deliver maximum business value.
Key Responsibilities
Product strategy & AI Innovation: Define long-term product roadmaps, manage the backlog, and align delivery schedules directly with corporate KPIs, proactively identifying opportunities to integrate AI and automated solutions to drive efficiency.
Requirements
Analysis: Lead the elicitation, analysis, and mapping of highly complex enterprise requirements into actionable functional specifications. Process Transformation : Evaluate complex internal/legacy workflows, identify operational gaps, and design optimized target operating models leveraging new technologies. Documentation & Training Enablement : Author comprehensive, high-quality documentation and design structured training materials to ensure seamless user adoption and operational readiness. Cross-Functional influence: serve as the strategic liaison between clients, Operations, and Engineering teams. Agile Governance: Champion rigorous Agile/Scrum standards , ensuring story health, precise acceptance criteria, and optimal development velocity .
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 5-10+ years of professional experience. Deep mastery of project management tools (JIRA, Confluence). Advanced knowledge of Scrum/Agile frameworks. Industry certifications ( Safe PO/PM, AI), Technical knowledge (SQL, Bobj etc), Compliance & accessibility (Section 508) is preferred. Domain knowledge within the loans, lending, or Mortgage industry is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently, multitask and balance competing priorities with a high degree of organization and attention to detail. Excellent written communication skills, including experience drafting user manuals, QRCs, Mockups and training materials. Meticulous attention to details, particularly in the preparation of training materials, story grooming.
