Solution Architect The Opportunity: As an infrastructure solutions architect, you know how to create a on-premise , hybrid, and cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs. What if you could use your infrastructure architecture skills to improve Public Health data modernization? We need you to help us develop scientific computing infrastructure solutions for some of Public Health’s toughest challenges. On our team, you’ll lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and modern solutions supporting Public Health data modernization initiatives. This is an opportunity to use the latest technologies as you look for ways to improve our client’s environment. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with engineers, product teams, and data modernization stakeholders to inform strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout implementation and delivery. You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise , cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You’ll lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you’ll broaden your skill set in areas like automation, cloud-based security, and modern DevOps practices while developing critical systems that advance national Public Health outcomes. You Have: Experience designing, configuring, and administering enterprise applications in on-premise or cloud based scientific-computing environments Experience with end-to-end ownership of enterprise analytics solutions, from design through delivery Experience conducting MVP engagements to test new tool applications Experience developing CI/CD pipelines for deployment into higher lifecycle environments Ability to lead technical teams Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience optimizing infrastructure cost management and implementing governance frameworks Experience with CDC processes, data modernization efforts, and federal IT environments Master’s degree in Computer Science Cloud Certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional Certification, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.
