About this role
About the Role As a Product Policy Manager, Search Policy in our Trust & Safety team, you will have the opportunity to work with teams of product managers, data scientists, user researchers, operations, legal and various relevant stakeholders to craft policies and safety strategies for Search and Search product features.
Responsibilities - Identify and anticipate product and content safety risks to support new launches of Search policies, products and features, leveraging solutions to effectively address the risks by optimizing policy iteration & implementation procedures to let our users engage with a safe content ecosystem. - Support the safe and responsible development and go-to-market of Search features help with search and discovery on TikTok, aiming to help users find entertaining and inspiring content. - Work closely with cross-functional partners and internal experts to understand emerging trends or risks and drive the implementation of solutions. - Provide prompt and professional input from the user safety perspective to support associated product feature launches. - Cultivate a deep understanding of Search features, and enforcement requirements to support the development, launch and training of effective UGC content policies, guidance and safety strategies. - Work closely with product teams to promote community well-being and user safety through optimization of product safety features and product strategy. - Conduct research into Trust and Safety best practices and analyze existing policies and procedures to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or conflicts and develop solutions to resolve. - Work with cross-functional teams to set goals and milestones for continuously improving the safety of Search features. - Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Policy Managers, Operations, Legal, PR, and PA teams to build consensus on global feature policies and processes.
