Architectural Contribution: Assist in modernizing existing application architecture by incorporating AI-driven patterns to keep the platform maintainable and scalable. Technical Quality: Adhere to and enforce team coding standards and AI governance, delivering consistent, high-quality code. Collaborative Problem Solving: Participate in technical whiteboarding sessions and code reviews to solve complex maintenance challenges. DevSecOps & CI/CD: Support quality automation (unit, integration, and security scans) and contribute to cloud deployment pipelines. Peer Support: Collaborate with cross-functional team members and offer guidance to junior developers in core .NET engineering and emerging AI tools. Essential Skills & Experience Experience: 4–6 years of relevant technical experience in software engineering. Technical Execution: Proven track record of delivering complex feature sets and contributing effectively within agile engineering teams. AI/LLM Proficiency: Practical experience using Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and agentic workflows. Core Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in C# and .NET. Cloud Infrastructure: Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or Helm). Testing Excellence: Solid experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks to ensure software quality. Data & Identity: Practical experience with SQL, Entity Framework, REST Web APIs, and Identity concepts (IAM, AuthN/AuthZ). Bonus Points For Legacy Modernization: Experience using AI tools to assist in refactoring legacy monolithic codebases toward microservices. Advanced Tooling: Exposure to Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud portal, and GitHub Copilot/AI coding assistants. Messaging: Familiarity with eventing systems like Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
