Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Nuclear Hardness & Survivability (NH&S) Engineer at the Principal Engineer (T03 level) or Sr Principal (T-04 level). This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. What You’ll Get To Do: The successful candidate will join the Nuclear Hardness & Survivability (NH&S) team in Roy, UT and contribute to the successful development of the world’s most advanced weapon system in one or more of the following ways: Defining NH&S environments Radiation transport modeling and simulation Radiation effects circuit analysis Ground shock and thermal effects analysis Effects of electromagnetic pulses on electronics NHS qualification testing and analysis of semiconductors NHS qualification testing and analysis of the GBSD systems, subsystems and equipment Basic Qualifications: This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03) or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level (T-04). Required for both levels: Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs Experience with requirements development and analysis. Experience with system/subsystem integration, test, and verification. Must have proven experience in communicating with all levels of peers, management and customers in a methodical, detailed and process oriented fashion. Must have demonstrated experience in solving technical problems independently with minimal supervision. Design and test experience in electronics technology Proficiency in SPICE-based circuit simulation tools Principal Systems Engineer (T03 Level) : Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree, 1 year with a PhD Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (T04 Level) : Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate has a broad range of experience with design, integration, and test of at least one or
