Inpatient Therapist Full Time, Day Shift We are looking for Therapists that: Believe in providing exceptional service to every patient, every interaction, every time. Located in Lexington, Kentucky, The Ridge offers a healing environment to reassure patients’ sense of security and confidentiality. Dedicated to excellence, The Ridge is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, as a licensed, 110-bed hospital, providing psychiatric (mental health) and substance use disorder (drug and alcohol rehabilitation) services to children, adolescents and adults. Inpatient care is provided on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week. Outpatient and partial hospitalization services are provided on a five-day per week basis, days and evenings. Care is provided according to an established code of ethical conduct and strict adherence to patient rights. Website: The Ridge Behavioral Health System | Lexington, KY Job Duties Include: Provide therapeutic group and family treatment to patients with mental and substance abuse diagnosis. Coordinate treatment through treatment planning, the treatment team process, and utilization and review. Conduct psychosocial assessments. Assess, develop, and implement groups to enhance treatment of patients.

Education
Master’s degree in social work or other mental health field required. Certifications/Licensure Certification or licensure in social work or mental health field required, e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, etc. Crisis intervention training is required and is offered upon hire. CPR is required and offered upon hire.
Experience
One to two years of mental health experience required. Inpatient experience preferred. Other Skills: Written and oral communication skills. Skills in case management. Skills in time management. Knowledge of acute psychological disorders, and advanced principals of abnormal psychology. Familiarity with follow-up resource services available to patients. Skills in conducting individual and family sessions. Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential. Must demonstrate the ability to treat all age populations as needed or have the capacity to develop skills through the organization’s cross-training, orientation program. Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.
