Manufacturing Engineer Job Summary The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes to improve product quality, operational efficiency, and cost competitiveness. This role works closely with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, Equipment Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to support daily manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure achievement of business objectives.

AI and Smart Manufacturing Skills Apply AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to improve manufacturing yield, cycle time, equipment utilization, and product quality. Analyze high-volume manufacturing data to detect abnormalities, predict operational risks, and support data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with Process, Equipment, IT, Automation, and Data Science teams to develop and deploy AI-enabled manufacturing solutions. Support predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, automated reporting, and intelligent process-control initiatives. Evaluate AI model outputs and validate their effectiveness before implementation in the manufacturing environment. Promote responsible use of AI while ensuring data accuracy, security, traceability, and compliance with company requirements. Manufacturing Operations Support Monitor daily manufacturing performance and ensure stable production operations. Troubleshoot process, equipment, and production-related issues to minimize downtime and maximize output. Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Support production teams in achieving safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Process Improvement Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, cycle time, yield, and equipment utilization. Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis methodologies to improve operational performance. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities for process excursions and quality issues. Develop and standardize manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and best practices. Project Management Lead or participate in cross-functional projects supporting manufacturing expansion, automation, and operational excellence. Coordinate implementation of new products, equipment, processes, and technology transfers. Manage project timelines, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communications. Quality and Compliance Ensure manufacturing processes comply with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Support audits and quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Quality teams to monitor process capability and product quality performance. Drive defect reduction and process control improvements. Digital Transformation & Automation Utilize data analytics, AI-assisted tools, and automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency. Develop dashboards, reporting systems, and data-driven decision-making tools. Support smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives. Safety and Environmental Compliance Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements.
