Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary Principal Software Engineer to drive the technical roadmap, system architecture, and core execution for our WF500 appliance platform. In this role, you will define the next-generation architecture for high-volume, low-latency appliance-to-cloud security workflows. You will serve as the technical authority across teams - solving deep distributed systems challenges, mentoring senior engineering talent, and partnering with product leadership to shape the long-term vision of our platform. We want passionate engineers who love to design and code world-class security services on Cloud Providers. Key Responsibilities
Appliance Platform Architecture: Lead the architectural design and evolution of the WF500 appliance software stack, maximizing hardware throughput, resource efficiency, and sub-second execution. Low-Level Systems & OS Engineering: Architect and optimize the underlying Linux base platform—focusing on kernel tuning, driver/system interfaces, daemon management, and high-performance local inter-process communication (IPC). High-Throughput Data Pipeline: Define messaging and caching strategies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis) tuned specifically for low-latency, high-concurrency local execution within appliance resource bounds. Code & Engineering Standards: Set the benchmark for production-grade code in Python, Go and C establishing strict memory management, low-latency execution patterns, and robust CI/CD practices across teams. System Resilience & Debugging: Serve as the final escalation point for diagnosing deep-seated system bugs, memory leaks, race conditions, and performance bottlenecks across hardware/software boundaries.
