Job Summary
The Tax Analyst - US State & Local Tax is primarily responsible for preparing the US Sales and Use tax compliance and payments within a fast-paced global medical device organization. The role will report to the Manager – US Tax. 

 Tax Analyst, US State & Local Tax Job Title: Tax Analyst – Indirect US State & Local Tax FLSA Status: Exempt / Non-Exempt (For HR only) Job Description: The Tax Analyst - US Sales & Use Tax, will work with the tax department to communicate US Sales and Use tax matters and support strategic initiatives. The role will include a mix of Sales & Use tax compliance and tax audit resolution where required. Responsibilities: • Preparation of all US Sales & Use Tax returns, personal property tax returns, abandoned property returns, estimated tax payments, and reporting obligations on a timely basis. • Assist with Sales & Use Tax audits including timely response to information & document requests. • Recommendations for improvement to the business processes underlying US Sales & Use Tax compliance process, to increase efficiency within the finance team. • Assist with the documentation of controls for the financial reporting process with regard to Sales & Use Tax calculations to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley 404 tax compliance. • Prepare Sales & Use Tax analyses, gather support and draft technical tax research memorandum to document the tax position taken for areas of uncertainty. • Identify opportunities for process improvement/technology solutions to increase the efficiency of the sales & Use Tax compliance and payment process. • Assist with State income tax compliance and reporting. Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field • Minimum experience: 3 years of relevant experience in a Tax Analyst role Preferred Skills and Competencies: • Independent and able to work autonomously. • CPA and/or MST preferred • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills. • Flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities and able to deliver high quality, accurate and timely work products. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a Team Player attitude. • Strong technology skills required NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office. #LI-Hybrid Additional Information: 

Compensation & Benefits:

For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $69,500.00 - $104,225.00

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
