Key Responsibilities
Lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of AI-powered borescope inspection analytics. Design and deploy advanced Computer Vision and Machine Learning solutions for image and video analysis. Develop algorithms for defect detection, anomaly detection, object recognition, segmentation, and visual search. Drive Edge AI deployment, optimization, and performance tuning on inspection devices. Establish scalable MLOps practices and cloud-native AI solutions using AWS. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Data Scientists and Computer Vision Engineers. Partner with global product, engineering, and business teams to deliver customer-centric innovations. Influence technology roadmap and drive adoption of emerging AI capabilities across inspection platforms.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field. 10-15+ years of experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, or Data Science solutions. Deep expertise in OpenCV, Classical Image Processing, Deep Learning, and Video Analytics. Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, YOLO, and modern Computer Vision frameworks. Strong experience in Object Detection, Classification, Segmentation, Defect Detection, and Anomaly Detection. Experience leveraging Vision Language Models (VLMs), Multimodal AI, and Generative AI to advance automated defect recognition, inspection assistance, visual search, and engineering knowledge discovery. Proven expertise deploying AI models using ONNX Runtime, OpenVINO, and Edge AI technologies. Experience building cloud-native ML solutions using AWS SageMaker and modern MLOps practices. Strong knowledge of ML CI/CD, REST APIs, Microservices, Git, and DevOps methodologies. Demonstrated success leading complex AI initiatives from concept to production. Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills. Experience in Aviation, Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), Industrial Inspection, NDT, or related domains is highly desirable.
