You could be assisting with drafting and negotiating the contractual agreements for the sale of our products and purchases from our suppliers, whilst also gaining experience in M&A transactions, GE Aerospace’s Compliance program, international trade controls, research tasks and monitoring changes in applicable laws (and its impact on the business).       The   UK Contracts Team   is made up of contract specialists based at   Cheltenham,   but who also support other Systems businesses in the UK. During the placement, you will gain valuable insight into the running of a busy Contracts department and have responsibility for many projects   including exciting fast jet, civil   airliner   and military helicopters . You will work closely with other members of the Contracts organisation locally, and as part of a wider UK and global Contracts team, whilst also working closely with the GE Aerospace Legal team.   You may also get the opportunity to undertake business travel in the UK and   possibly overseas .     You will be guided by structured goals and   objectives   and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you. We will guide you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE Aerospace experience.
