Summary We have an opportunity for an Analytics Scientist I to join our team. In this role, you will work on diverse analytical projects with a high degree of independence. You will contribute to method development, validation, and transfer activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position offers the chance to lead technical aspects of projects and collaborate with internal teams and customers. Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm Location: Kansas City, MO 100% Onsite The Role Develop and execute laboratory work plans and schedules independently, using customer milestones and site performance standards Work with sample types including in-process, release, or stability using techniques such as HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, Disintegration, Friability, Hardness, and appearance Perform method development, validation, and transfer activities Author technical documents including protocols, test methods, reports, certificates of analysis, and operating procedures Review technical documents for accuracy, thoroughness, and regulatory compliance Direct work of technical staff, including work assignments Act as Technical Lead with responsibility for project outcomes and customer interaction Execute efficiency improvement projects with guidance Identify and recommend business opportunities on a project-specific basis Train others on laboratory techniques Perform other duties as assigned The Candidate Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related life science or physical science field with a minimum of 6 years related work experience, or Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years related work experience, or Doctorate degree with 0+ years related work experience Ability to proactively address work issues at both an individual and team level Ability to process, maintain, and interpret data Understanding of instrument operations and troubleshooting skills in multiple techniques Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers Well organized with ability to multitask and manage time efficiently Physical requirements include frequent standing, sitting, and reaching; occasional walking, lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 40 lbs.); and occasional kneeling Working environment may involve occasional exposure to noise, vibration, and hazards Preferred Skills & Background None specified Why You Should Join Catalent Defined career path and annual performance review and feedback process Diverse, inclusive culture Potential for career growth on an expanding team within an organization dedicated to preserving and bettering lives Competitive paid time off plus 8 paid holidays Community engagement and green initiatives Medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day one of employment Tuition reimbursement Catalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career!
