We’ll count on you to promote and provide outstanding customer service and be responsible for assisting with portfolio underwriting. Two interns will be accepted with placement in Personal Lines Field Underwriting. A day in the life of a Personal Lines Underwriting Intern might include: Completes training necessary to understand the underwriting process Adheres to high standards of professional conduct Learn more about performing underwriting analysis and identify business trends and opportunities for profitable growth Builds knowledge of: Personal Lines policies to assess the total risk proposition and alternatives for acceptability within best practices.  Delivers an outstanding customer service experience to all internal, external, current and prospective Nationwide customers. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Complete a capstone project: Identify an opportunity area within the Underwriting function, develop a solution to address the opportunity and present the proposal to Personal Lines leadership team for consideration.
