We are looking for a Production Supervisor in our Ladysmith, WI location who will be responsible for providing immediate supervision on 1st shift to a team of 25-30 employees. This role is supervising our Molding department and will report to the production manager. Schedule: This is a MON - FRI 7am-3pm shift Position Summary: This position is responsible for directing the development and implementation of production goals in safety, quality, customer delivery, and financial improvement. Develop ing capacity plans and output forecasts based upon complex customer demand trends and variable labor content per production order is critical to the role . Develop ing and execut ing resource planning in a high product mix, highly flexible and customized manufacturing process while s elect ing, develop ing , and evaluat ing personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production team is required . This work consists of p lan ning and administer ing operating policies, procedures, and practices that foster employee engagement in a continuous improvement driven work environment. This work requires attention to detail, managing multiple priorities and taking actions with minimal direction which may encompass but not limited to the following: You will be part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation Essential Functions: Direct supervision of 25-30 employees across multiple work shifts. Maintain and enforce safe work practices. Select and hire employees and provide on-going performance monitoring. Establish and implement employee training and development programs and schedules. Execute company policies and procedures with respect to disciplinary policies. Perform resource planning requirements and scheduling of work hours and time off requests. Receive predetermined assignments subject to a moderate level of control and review. Communicate daily production requirements
