Finance Manager, AMZL Fleet Finance

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to help own critical functions within the rapidly growing Fleet Finance Organization. This Finance Manager will partner with Global Fleet & Products team to build a fleet that scales with the network, provides flexible capacity as needed, supports current and future driver models, and consistently improves products and services that increase utilization and reduces the burden of managing vehicles. This role is more than finance: it requires ability to invent, go beyond the standard business rules to "experiment" and "conceive" together with the business partners to find financial sustainable solutions. The successful candidate will leverage AI-powered tools including Orcha, Aza, QuickSuite, and other emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, enhance decision-making, and drive operational efficiency. As a member of a growing team, you will deal with a high level of ambiguity and changing priorities. The successful candidate will maneuver through the ambiguity, communicate effectively across teams and levels, while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. Key job responsibilities Strategic Partnership • Partner across Operations and the Business to develop a long-term fleet strategy while optimizing for cost & on-road vehicle efficiency • Partner/Support the business during contract negotiations with outside suppliers for financial valuations and trade-off decisions • Use AI tools to draft and refine financial narratives, business cases, and strategic documents that align with Amazon's writing principles • Experience supporting cross-functional projects with demonstrated expertise in leading without authority to achieve results Financial Modeling • Build complex financial models (NPV) for large scale fleet acquisitions/pilot programs (e.g. buy vs. lease vehicle) • Leverage Orcha and QuickSuite to automate data extraction, analysis, and reporting, reducing manual effort by identifying patterns and anomalies in financial data • Identify and develop key business opportunities and drive efficiency while balancing customer promise • Establish a financial framework with ambiguous project inputs and requirements across a diverse set of partner teams; drive cost improvements to the requirements gathering process • Apply AI-powered analytics tools to generate scenario analyses and sensitivity models that inform strategic decisions FP&A • You use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses with little guidance and draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results, and drive improvements. You manage development of weekly and monthly financial reviews, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communicating to Financial and Operations partners. • You utilize AI assistants to streamline document creation, ensure consistency in reporting formats, and accelerate the production of executive-ready materials. You explore and implement AI tools to automate repetitive financial processes, allowing more time for strategic analysis and business partnership. • You identify and solve complex data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on resolution, insisting on the highest standards. You create effective business partnership, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events. Business Analysis • You identify and implement opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations.
