Job Summary

The successful candidate will support the training and development of manufacturing team members to ensure consistent, high-quality production of our signature products. This role focuses on delivering hands-on training, maintaining up-to-date procedures, and supporting continuous improvement in employee performance and operational standards. This individual must possess a willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: · Deliver On-the-Job Training (OJT) and serve as a buddy/mentor to Operators to support their onboarding and skills development. · Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and well-organized training records, including tracking employee progress, completion status, and supporting training for documentation updates or revisions. · Support cross-training initiatives and skill matrix progression to accelerate operator competency and transcript advancement. · Monitor and track OJT progress, including assessment readiness, ensuring Operators are fully prepared prior to certification. · Manage OJT armband control, including distribution, collection, and tracking of missing or misused armbands, ensuring only non-certified Operators wear them. · Collaborate with Process/Production Engineering (PE) to support rework training (when required) or improvement needed to sustainability. · Required to obtain process certification and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support certification activities across manual, automation, and TPM processes. · Verify that daily cleaning activities & weekly PM are properly executed in accordance with established procedures. · Uphold discipline and compliance on the production floor by monitoring adherence to cleanroom protocols, PPE usage, and 5S practices. · Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements: · Diploma in engineering disciplines, preference in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering. · Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience of production technician or process technician. · Work experience at high-volume manufacturing line in cleanroom environment. · Possesses good communication skills, enabling clear and effective delivery and explanation of training content to individuals and groups to facilitate the learning process. · Data driven, decision making and result oriented · Multi-language fluency (English, Malay minimum), · Experience in On-the-Job Training (OJT) execution, competency assessment and certification processes. · Good problem-solving skills. · Ability to analyze training gaps, operational issues and performance data. · Must be able to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Preferred Skills and Competencies: · Strong planning, organization, and multitasking skills · Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. · Previous experience working in a clean room environment. · Familiarity with manufacturing instrumentation such as video microscopes, micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators. · Mechanical Aptitude – Knowledge of and experience with automated machines and tools, including design, uses, repair, and maintenance. · Production & Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, measurement instruments, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for the manufacture and distribution of goods. · Problem Solving – Recognizes problems and understands root cause analysis techniques/concepts. · Comfortable working in a fast-paced
