About this role
Supports the clinical management and refill coordination of specialty pharmacy patients. Responsible for communicating with patients, caregivers, providers, and internal teams to coordinate medication deliveries, complete refill activities, maintain accurate documentation, and provide exceptional customer service. What you’ll do to make a difference: Support specialty pharmacy operations, distribution, and patient care activities. Complete patient assessments and refill coordination. Maintain accurate patient records, medication profiles, and documentation. Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, caregivers, providers, and medical staff. Coordinate medication deliveries and serve as a liaison between pharmacy, operations, patients, and providers. Provide onsite training and support for new hires, assisting with onboarding and process education at our Oakdale, PA office. Deliver excellent customer service while managing challenging situations professionally. Work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and contribute to process improvements. Perform additional duties as assigned. What you need to be successful: High School Diploma or GED required. Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred. Specialty pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred. Experience training or mentoring new hires preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Professional, patient-focused, and adaptable. Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information appropriately. Takes initiative and demonstrates a commitment to quality.
