We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Project Manager works with the multiple stakeholders to develop and award construction contracts and then move the project into the Design and Construction execution phases. Upon contract award, the Project Manager is responsible for maintaining the workflow process, project management and surveillance, and perform administrative duties as required. As a pivotal role in the delivery of critical infrastructure projects, this position offers the candidate the chance to meaningfully apply and expand their engineering and construction management capabilities. Roles and Responsibilities Development of facilities and infrastructure project packages including Scopes of Work, Specification, drawings, cost estimates, etc. Perform technical evaluation of contractor proposals Oversee the development of design and construction documents. Manage and inspect construction projects in accordance with applicable guidelines and contract specifications. Ensure proper coordination with users and involved agencies. Conduct inspections and document contractor progress, deficiencies and performance. Evaluates contractor's submittals and coordinate government furnished property. Perform acceptance and post acceptance inspections. Perform warranty inspections. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and government officials via telephone, computer, and in-person Utilize advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and other tools) to develop professional reports, presentations, and project documentation. Meet performance expectations, establish priorities, proceed with objectives, and resolve reoccurring problems while working with minimal supervision.
Basic Qualifications
Design and Project & Construction Management experience Basic typing skills. Knowledge of construction safety requirements. Knowledge of ANSI/NEC/NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, US Air Force safety directives and be familiar with U.S. Government and Turkish construction practices and standards. Turkish Citizenship Capable to speak, read, write, and understand English Language “Minimum Level II” Have a current driver’s license (minimum “B” Class) Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum four years experience in design and construction project management, preparation of plans, specifications and manage and inspect construction projects. Familiarity with local building codes and standards, US Government contracting process, U.S. building codes, standards and specifications. Knowledge of design and construction procedures is a plus. Experience working on Incirlik Air Base All positions require the applicant to obtain and pass a medical physical that is certified by a doctor. All positions require a current and favorable Turkish Security background check. All male candidates must have completed their military service.
