Finance Manager, JP Payments

Amazon seeks a Finance Business Partner to support Amazon Japan Payments team, mainly Amazon Pay and Partner Points programs. The person will be part of a team responsible for long and short term financial planning, controllership of weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reporting, and provide rigorous business modelling to support strategic negotiations with partners. They will drive both short- and long-term investment decisions, including product innovation, go/no-go launch assessments, strategic pricing, and resource allocation. Candidate should have the following strengths: - Self-starter that is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. - Strong written and oral communication skills combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads. - Ability to work well with cross functional teams and lead Senior Leadership reviews. - Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Financial modeling and working with large data sets - Strong strategic business partnering experience - Solid business judgment and controllership focus. - The ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable conclusions.
