Landscape Architect

Title: Landscape Architect This is your opportunity to join our busy team in Melbourne and work closely with the environment and planning group our major infrastructure and city shaping projects across various industries. As a key member of the team you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects across our business including transport, water, and energy. You will collaborate with a large multi-disciplinary team and contribute to creative solutions that yield award winning outcomes. Your role will include (but not be limited to): Provide input, advice and expertise on studies and engineering projects Assist with developing landscape solutions in collaboration with other internal/external professionals With support from the Team Lead, provide technical guidance on a wide spectrum of landscape issues Effective management in preparing feasibility studies, context analysis, masterplan/open space strategies, precinct plan development, landscape architecture.   Lead coordination of and/or input to and development of key design strategies, design development and package documentation / coordination.   Our Urban Design and Landscape Architecture team is growing in size and significance, we have secured multiple projects that will allow you to contribute creatively and technically. Who are you? You are a motivated Landscape Architect  eager to take a prominent role in Melbourne’s iconic infrastructure projects. You have a proven track record of working in multi-disciplinary environments, facilitating design coordination, sub-contractor management and liaising with clients. You recognise the importance of maintaining professional networks within the company and across the infrastructure industry, building strong relationships with government departments and industry stakeholders. Your skills and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture Proven experience in providing design advice on major government projects Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Delivering project milestones on time and on budget Eligibility for membership in a professional association Why KBR? Suburban Rail Loop KBR, as part of the Linewide Alliance, is proud to be awarded the Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East Linewide Alliance contract. SRL is a city-shaping infrastructure project that will transform how people live and move around Melbourne. The 90km orbital rail line will connect every major train line, link key precincts, and support vibrant communities. SRL East, the first stage, will deliver 26km of twin underground tunnels and six new stations between Cheltenham and Box Hill, enabling 70,000 new homes near public transport, jobs, schools, and services.
