The opportunity The EY Parthenon (EY-P) Executive is responsible for working with senior leadership (SSL, Competencies, Area and EY Parthenon Solutions) in developing and implementing the global strategic priorities. Technology Innovation is a strategic priority for EY-P to help us better provide services to our Clients as well as disrupt our own ways of working in driving better insights, collaboration and improved ways of working. Providing better insights to Clients Ability to create our own IP and data assets from the thousands of Client engagements we support every year
An exciting role exists to enhance your development and broaden your experience as part of the EY-P Global Innovation Team. You will work with the EY-P Global Innovation Leader and the firm Data Office to support and implement our EY-P Data agenda. The opportunity is for an experienced Director who wants to:
Develop, lead and implement our EY-P data strategy on how data can be harnessed to support our EY-P services Leverage his or her technology skillset as well as market knowledge of how data is disrupting M&A and consulting services Lead procurement processes and vendor negotiations and governance Work with the business to define data assets into our core EY-P Platforms Support and enhance our Global Technology toolkit for EY-P practitioners
Your key responsibilities This individual will be involved with all aspects to drive and lead the EY-P Data Agenda:
Working with the firm Data Office and Regional Member Firms to implement the ‘Client consent clause’ into engagement agreement standard T&Cs – that will enable the ability to build data assets from Client engagements Managing and governing the data demand, budget, procurement and selection of data vendors in line with the Global EY-P Data Strategy and to enable our new Global Platform, Strategy Edge. Researching new data and software providers to identify new and alternative data/solutions that can best meet our EY-P business needs Manage the build of EY Data assets and IP and deploying these through our OneEdge Solutions. Work with QRM, Independence, PIA and General counsel to challenge and approve data re-use and new ways of consuming data.
Skills and attributes for success
Strong technology capabilities that can be applied in a business context Strong relationship & stakeholder development skills – a team player in all senses Ability to assimilate complex information and relay to audiences of all levels of understanding Strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills with the ability to effectively engage senior leadership Good understanding of EY and EY-P services, as well as the benefits that data can provide Self-starter; able to work independently, take initiative, work under pressure and deal with ambiguity Willingness to learn and adapt Cultural sensitivity and global mindset.
To qualify for the role you must have
Worked in a technical capacity in EY-P for a minimum of 5 years with exposure of multiple service offerings Demonstrated high performance for the last 3 years Flexibility around hours and some international travel and / or calls across multiple time zones.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience of working internationally Experience of leveraging data in providing engagement services Experience across multiple Connected Capital Solutions
