The Air Dominance Finance Organization has an immediate opening for a Hardware Development Finance Leader (M5) within the Air Dominance Portfolio. The Hardware Development Finance Leader will focus on PUMA and Block Change efforts. This role provides a tremendous opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be the Finance Leader in a key area of growth within the Air Dominance portfolio. This individual will lead a team of 5 analysts to support EACs, Financial Reporting, CDRLs, key pursuits and ad hoc tasking. This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite to collaborate cross-functionally across PMO, OPS, SCM, ENG, and QMA as a critical business partner to analyze cost & schedule performance variances, identify performance trends, drive correct actions to closure, and improve predictability of the EAC process. An ideal individual for this role will be a strong communicator and team leader with a desire to learn, seek process improvements and efficiency opportunities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
Lead a team of 5 financial analysts Be responsible for updates and conduct trend analysis and communicate how program performance impacts BSEC (Bookings, Sales, Earnings, & Cash). Establish annual and long range financial targets and meet annual financial commitments Support the EAC process by driving functional meetings and collaborating with functional counterparts to EAC inputs are analyzed and provided on schedule. Coordinate & Communicate with SSBU and Program Finance teams to set expectations for EAC and forecast deliverables including flow down and deliverable timing & expectations. Financial point of contact for Program Management and be able to provide financial guidance to IPT leads and non-finance organizations including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations. Meet critical deadlines and develop reports to encourage solutions and process improvements. Support Ad-hoc requests as required.
Qualifications
You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years experience Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (ex.
